April 11-13 – At Sea
Following my niece’s wedding on April 10 in Ft. Lauderdale
I ubered to the Silver Spirit for the start of my transatlantic crossing.
Unfortunately everything I wrote in my travel journal
disappeared when I tried to sync my tablet to my computer, so this is all from
memory.
April 14-15 – Hamilton, Bermuda
I thought Bermuda would be
my 100th country visited, but as it turned out, I hit 100 during my
recent around-the-world trip.
Hamilton
was a beautiful city, but everything was super expensive. I did buy a cycling jersey to add to my
collection.

April 16-19 – At Sea
April 20 – Horta, Azores,
Portugal
This is my first visit to the Azores. During my previous attempt, the captain
bypassed the port since the waves were too high.
I walked around town, enjoying the colorful landscape.

April 21 – Ponta Delgado, Azores, Portugal
Two ports in two days is not very common on the
crossing. Again, I walked through the
town for a few hours.
Reminds me of one of my paintings
April 22-23 – At Sea
April 24 – Malaga,
Spain
This is a city I have cruised into many times. I walked through town enjoying the familiar
sights.

April 26 – Barcelona,
Spain
I went directly to the airport for my flight to Miami and Orlando
